Winter Hours: From January through March 31 2024, our hours are Wednesday through Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm to 4:00pm

The Fort Meigs visitor center and museum are open year round!

Reduced rates are offered during our winter quarter. Admission includes the viewing of WGTE’s Fort Meigs introductory video, and access to The Legacy of Freedom, our state-of-the-art War of 1812 Museum.

The reconstructed fort and outdoor exhibits open April 3, 2024!

Fort Meigs Historic Site is managed by the Fort Meigs Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit, on behalf of the Ohio History Connection

The outdoor fort opens for the 2024 season in April!

Celebrate the first weekend the fort is open on April 6 & 7 as we host the 21st US Infantry + US Artillery for an 1812 Garrison Weekend. Units will be drilling, schooling, and preparing for the season of historic military re-enactments.

Outdoor access to the fort and the exterior exhibits begins Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Second Sunday Tabletop Games

Every second Sunday of the month we host historical miniature tabletop games in the classrooms! The featured games change each month. There are a variety of easy to learn games for all ages.
